More information about Lightning Seeds, Maximo Park, Riding The Low, Propaganda DJs tickets

Saturday 25 July at Live at Melbourne Hall turns the South Derbyshire estate into a haven for indie, rock and feel-good summer anthems. The brand-new, open-air site welcomes the Lightning Seeds, Maxïmo Park, Riding The Low and Propaganda DJs for a day steeped in British guitar-driven melody on Crow Park.

Lightning Seeds bring a sparkling set built on decades of unmistakable melodies - songs that feel tailor-made for open-air nights in the Derbyshire countryside. Maxïmo Park follow with their famously kinetic live show: lyrics loaded with emotional clarity and intellectual punch, delivered with muscular, urgent indie energy. Now 20 years and eight albums in, the trio return revitalised by the raw, bold spirit of their new record Stream Of Life, channelling everything from Athens, Georgia art-rock influences to their own unmistakably Northeast bite. Riding The Low add a proudly Midlands-rooted indie edge, their cinematic songwriting blending perfectly with the heritage surroundings of Melbourne Hall. Propaganda DJs close out the evening with an indie-rock soundtrack that keeps the festival atmosphere burning long after sunset.

Day tickets, VIP packages and weekend passes are all available, with a variety of street food, craft beer bars on site and limited parking throughout the event.

Live At Melbourne Hall gets its summer events underway with a three-day extravaganza in a brand-new, open-air site at the South Derbyshire stately home. Taking place 24–26 July, Melbourne Hall will host UK favourites as Jo Whiley, The Lightning Seeds, The Shires, Scott Mills’ Pop Party, Maxïmo Park and lots more within Crow Park.

Across the weekend, Melbourne Hall’s grounds become the perfect backdrop for a musical journey spanning over three decades of British talent. Friday’s DJ-led celebration channels the spirit of the 90s and the pure joy of pop culture, with Jo Whiley reviving the decade she helped define, Scott Mills delivering the biggest mainstream hits from then and now, and Toby Spin adding a fresh twist that keeps the night buzzing.

Saturday shifts into indie-rock euphoria, where Lightning Seeds bring their shimmering, melodic anthems to the lawns. Maxïmo Park follow with their trademark, literate, high-energy performance - alive with the emotional intensity and restless reflections that power their new album Stream of Life and driven by the urgent, celebratory energy that has made them one of the UK’s most exhilarating live bands for over 20 years. Riding The Low add the raw, Midlands-rooted indie spirit that feels right at home in Derbyshire’s landscape, while Propaganda DJs keep the festival feel alive long into the evening.

Sunday’s sunshine sets the stage for the UK’s finest country artists. The Shires return with their Nashville-approved harmonies, Ward Thomas bring heartfelt storytelling through their renowned sisterly blend, Catherine McGrath offers warm acoustic emotion shaped by both Ireland & Tennessee and Minna’s adventurous folk tones drift beautifully across the gardens - creating a pastoral finale to the weekend.

Day tickets, VIP packages and weekend passes are all available, with a variety of street food, craft beer bars on site and limited parking throughout the event.
